Yves' first public exhibition was at the Paul Ricard Fondation Gallerie, in France, when he was 17 years old. He then exhibited in various galleries in France before emigrating to Canada in 1976. His work has since been exhibited in many public and private galleries in Canada, USA, Japan and Europe, too numerous to list.
In 1982, Yves has also collaborated with french poet Michel Butor, in the production of 26 collages with original manuscripts.Some of these works were exhibited in Belgium at the Liege Public Art Gallery in a show called "Voir avec Michel Butor ". This exhibition included works by Picasso, Miro, Chagall and other masters.
