John McConnell
	For contemporary Irish painter, John McConnell, Ireland is a spiritual home. Widely known for his “Journey of an Ancient Soul” series, in 1998, he was elected full membership in the prestigious Artist’s Association of Ireland, (AAI). He moved to Vancouver Island in 2004, to continue painting after a career as Director of Art Education at Appleby College in Oakville Ontario. Widely collected on both sides of the Atlantic, his work is highly sought after.
