Peggy does not need to travel far from her Saanich home to find inspiration for her paintings. Whether walking her dog in Mt. Doug. Park, biking with friends along the Galloping Goose or driving her kids to soccer practice, Peggy is always on the lookout and can always find beautiful scenes of nature in her neighbourhood.
Peggy works part time as a physiotherapist, is a mother of three and an artist at heart. She has been drawing and painting since childhood and has supplemented her mostly self-taught knowledge and high school art education with continuing education courses at Camosun College, the University of Victoria and the Victoria College of Art. A native of Vancouver Island, Peggy is an avid hiker and lover of nature and Vancouver Island landscapes are her favourite subjects to paint.
She has been an artist participant at the 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013 Moss Street Paint-ins and has paintings exhibited in 2010 at Coast Collective Art Gallery, Saanich Municipal Hall and various businesses in Saanich and Victoria.
